The movie of a life time - The Pursuit of Happyness

Well, i had came across a movie which may be was one of the best and masterpiece of recent times i have ever seen. The Movie 'The pursuit of Happyness' starring will smith as chris gardner on whose true life account the whole story revolves.Lets see what his story has in store for all of us who Pursue the Happyness in all fronts of life.

PLOT

In 1981, in San Francisco, Chris Gardner (Will Smith) invests his family's savings in portable bone-density scanners which he tries to demonstrate and sell to doctors. The investment proves to be a white elephant which financially breaks the family and as a result, his wife Linda (Thandie Newton) leaves him with their son Christopher (Jaden Smith) and moves to New York. While downtown trying to sell one of his scanners, Chris meets a manager for Dean Witter and impresses him by solving a Rubik's Cube during a short cab ride. Chris does not have enough money for the cab fare and flees the cab driver into a subway station where he barely escapes the cab driver but loses one of his bone scanners in the process. This new relationship with the Dean Witter manager earns him the chance to become an intern stockbroker. Despite arriving there unkempt and shabbily dressed due to an emergency, Chris is offered the internship. Chris is further set back when his bank account is garnished by the IRS for unpaid taxes, and he and his young son are evicted. As a result they are homeless, and are forced at one point to stay in a bathroom at a subway station. Motivation drives him to find the Glide Memorial United Methodist Church, which has a homeless shelter primarily for single mothers and their children. Due to demand for the limited rooms, Chris must frantically race from his internship work early each afternoon in order to land a place in line. Chris finds the bone scanner that he lost in the subway station from a demented man who believes it to be a time machine and it is now damaged, but Chris finally repairs it. Disadvantaged by his limited work hours, and knowing that maximizing his client contacts and profits is the only way to earn the one paid position that he and his 19 competitors are fighting for, Chris develops a number of ways to make phone sales calls more efficiently. He also reaches out to potential high value customers, defying protocol. One sympathetic prospect takes him and his son to a professional football game. Regardless of Chris's challenges, he never reveals his lowly circumstances to his co-workers, even going so far as to lend one of his bosses five dollars for a cab, a sum he can barely afford.

Concluding his internship, Chris is called into a meeting with his managers. His work has paid off and he is offered the position. Fighting back tears, he rushes to his son's daycare, hugging him. They walk down the street, joking with each other and are passed by a man in a business suit (the real Chris Gardner in a cameo). The epilogue reveals that Chris went on to form his own multi-million dollar brokerage firm.

So...

As easy it seems..it was never such easy...the man truly counts for thousand bows who never said 'NEVER' and his journey from vacuum to happyness, the rags to riches is truly remarkable and worth inspiring one...

Let me present some of the full of life lines stolen from the movie itself.

- "Christopher Gardner: I met my father for the first time when I was 28 years old. I made up my mind that when I had children, my children were going to know who their father was."

- "Christopher Gardner: You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period."

- "Martin Frohm: What would you say if man walked in here with no shirt, and I hired him? What would you say?
Christopher Gardner: He must have had on some really nice pants."

- "Christopher Gardner: [narrating] This part of my life... this part right here? This part is called "being stupid."

- "Christopher Gardner: [narrating] This part of my life... this part right here? This is called "happyness."

- "Christopher Gardner: Maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue. And maybe we can actually never have it no matter what."

See you guys...enjoy.
will come up with something more interesting.
Have a nice time,

When Friends Mistreat Us

When we give someone our sincere affection and they hurt us, what should our attitude be?

For myself, I must tell you that I feel deep kindness for those who have harshly criticized me, or even declared themselves my enemies. What sort of friendship would it be that couldn’t ride the waves of a friend’s behavior, or that was withdrawn when others treated one wrongly?

Don’t all of us make mistakes from time to time? Indeed, if we can’t love our friends in spite of their mistakes, I really don’t see how we can expect to have any friends at all! And if we can’t put up with imperfections in our friends, by what right do we expect them to value us, imperfect as we are?

Our friends are bound to disappoint us sometime or other. At such times, I think the best attitude is to see beyond the moment, and recognize that they may, in fact, be basically good people.

Jealousy and pride are normal human weaknesses. Truly, I feel more kindness for people after they hurt me than before, if only because they need it more when they are in error than when they are going along well. They may treat me as they please; that is their business, not mine. But my business is to continue to be a true friend. They can’t affect my feeling for them, or my loving wish for their highest good.

And if their criticisms, invalid as they may be, should turn a few people against me, why, I would consider that only good fun! The divine drama would get a little boring, don’t you think, without a little comedy? For what do people’s opinions matter, whether good or bad? I’m not seeking God to please them!

Mistakes

Sometimes in our life, we come across some highly successful people and often the thoughts passes through the micro brainy cells are

1. What is the reason about this person’s magnetic charm and success?
2. What he or she chooses to do which leads them to the ladder of achievement often?

Well certain questions are endless but according to me no one is born genius or no one possess some extra miraculous set of skills or quality. Because it is all about just  individual choices ,learning from the mistakes & ability to withstand the defeat and stand up again.
Everyone in life experiences the taste of defeat and believe me its taste is truly bitter…but if you haven’t had bitter taste ever in your life till then you will never be able to experience the sweetness  of success. And mistakes are natural and countless mistakes plays pivotal role before achieving perfection of any sort. So learn, don’t afraid of mistakes, and make sure your every effort should minify mistakes and should lead you to achieve the cult status of perfection.
Well that is for now…brain needed some food for thoughts so thought lets start like this after long gape of scribbling…and I am not stopping here…I am  back now with my stupid thoughts…be ready for suffering the boring blogs again…you have nothing but my sympathy…sorry !

Choices & Independencies...!!!

Guys…it’s been a too long since I made footprints in this blog arenas. Thoughtful fireworks was necessity for me as this is something I am very much passionate for…no one would be of much interested to know what  vishw was doing in lost moments…except HIMSELF…!!! But yea going is cool…an its not an attempt to scribble my autobiography here as I am not a kind of marvel like sachin tendulkar, chetan bhagat, saina nehwal, amitabh bachchan or kalam stuff…!!! Just an ordinary man passionate for putting thoughts…!!! so let me make an attempt to put up something here…even I don’t know what stuff is going to come out…but lets see…!!!

Hmmm…still thinking…..

Ok got it….

Dependency…? Let’s go for it…!!!

What makes someone dependent? What makes someone swinging in between exhausting indecisions? What makes someone vulnerable by others?  What….? Endless confusing scenarios….!!!
Repetitive stuffs like Confidence…attitude…emotional quotient…innocence…appear to be the key feedbacks…but beneath this upper view what lay beneath is variant to different personas and variant pasts…!!! But lets not get into detailed analysis…let’s talk about the keys for independency…!!! I think that’s more right approach…looking always brighter side…treating glass always half full…such not so rare optimistic approaches…!!! Yeap may be this approaches not new or iconoclast…but they don’t need to be…as eternal truths never need any justification…!!!
The place or the room within conscious where one takes the opinions, observes, introspects and makes final fruitful decision…! And one more room within where one has opinions, ideas, and egos, self respect and dignity for himself…! Collision of these rooms may be the reason for the mood orders and lack of self consciousness…lack of faith on one’s self…!!!
“ I don’t care as let them speak what they want…I know what to do…no one can take away my own choice and no one has the power to influence me…! ” that’s the kind of wall cemented with attitude and confidence makes certain personalities invulnerable and independent. What’s the reason for this dignifying state of consciousness within various two out of ten personalities…!!! An obvious answer from my limited maturity and introspection pours out it as the choices based on the principles…! Simple one liner solution with near perfection in my own periphery of maturity and introspection and limited to my own life…and not for distribution unless someone willing for and without indulgence of any mind boggling debate…!!!
Principles need to be cultivated in daily routine which works as a yardstick against certain confusing scenarios which makes someone independent of remaining indecisiveness and sure way to head on…! And out of this independency flourishes the self confidences which enables you to the make the right choices and right decisions…which in turn creates the golden wall of scintillating attitude which paints your personality with flying colors of magnetic charm and graceful in spite of absence of external splendiferous…!!!
Hope this session has gone well and easy to gulp down without any blocking bone…!!!
Ok folks...will continue to pour down…and I am also willing for even though out of extreme busyness…and yea that’s what my choice is based on my principles…!!! So have choices, have principles and be independent ;-))

Vishw.

“How you see the things & what is your Focus.”

How you see the things- It depends more upon some factors such as your genes, culture, family, experiences, general atmosphere where you live and lastly your own intellectual…The mixture of all these different forces and elements creates a vision for a particular thing, Situation, problem, and person …! Well not all the time but  Sometimes it has been seen that persons perceiving and seeing the things differently have been called PSYCHOS or MAD in the earlier times but later wards the determination shown by that person has very much been lauded in the later part of the times….For example history shows that in earlier times some scientists were greatly opposed or even hung to death(by the staunch followers of narrow and shallow beliefs) due to their own strong conceptual beliefs based on their own research and experiments And in later part of the time the same people accepted the truth for which they had killed or punished the same person who was the originator of that truth…! Well…that was just an example where the seeing the different things generated ideas which were ahead of the time and were not acceptable by the people due to darkness of their own conscious but when the light showered upon them, the realization came to them as unpardonable sin…! So…confusion is seeing the things as it should be…or as it is…? Ok…In my opinion seeing the things based on your own rich intellectual…because among all other factors such as genes, culture, family, atmosphere, Experiences are those factors which forms the part of your intellectual somewhere…!

What is Your Focus- Focus is sum total of desires, expectations, and achievement. But detachment is also another aspect which is just like the two sided coin in this discussion…Swami Vivekananda has regarded great concentration & Focus as a gift to the rare ones who possess it but suggest as well that detachment from the things is also necessary because focus is all about doing necessary and detachment is all about avoiding unnecessary and removing the side effects of the particular Focus. And believe me great Focus can be a rare gift sometimes but to acquire the ability of detachment is really difficult thing…and i am practicing hard for it!

Well...Above given script is nothing but just the random thoughts running here and there sometimes…Nothing else!
Your are confused…Ok…?
Objective Achieved then…!

Have a Nice time...

There is a thin line between Maturity & Fantasy…!

The Definition of the maturity in my personal opinion can be laid down in the following fact that it’s only the challenging situations which marks the tough decisions by the man and shows the true strength of character…while Fantasy is a state where one have a false assumption and false image of the particular situation. Now what is the connection between these two different terms…?

Maturity is the state which provides strength to the inner core of the conscious. Now what is conscious…? It’s the supernatural force hidden within the bones and skins which has its own fear, emotions, desires, attitude, perceptions and storage of some extra sensory experiences. The equilibrium between these different elements of the conscious to make the right choices and the right decisions of a life is an endowment which is called MATURITY.

Now…Fantasy…Fantasy is a state which is quite opposite of maturity…when the elements of conscious suggested above are shadowed by false hallucination or false assumption for the particular situation or the things which creates the mental blocks to see the reality…so now this inability to see the real thing is the disease which is called FANTASY.

Hv A Nice Time,

Conversation with Soul-A Philosophy note from the pages of My Life My Journey

Deep veil and mourning was the only sound which was transcending through the walls of my dear friends house on that woeful day…Some women from his family and neighborhood were sobbing on that dark morning gripping everyone’s eyes tearful…Some man had carried sad expressions on the face…just 10 minutes  before I entered to this remorseful environment…I had got a call from the friend to reach at his home as fast as I can so that i can provide him true details of what has happened back at his home as his sister had asked him to come back from Baroda as soon as he can due to bad health of his mother in somewhat  mysteriously distressing tone….5 minutes later I reached his home…Aunty(His Mother) was laid down on the bed with no single breath in the body with whom I had talked just few days back and she had talked with so much laughter, fun & affection with me…!
I got a call from my friend again…he asked to tell me the truth…but I had to say “just casual weakness nothing else and needs to take to the hospital but you just come here quickly as your mother is really missing you..So please don’t worry more yaar…till then I am here ok…don’t worry…!” he had got a sixth sense at that moment and told me that I am also not telling him the truth. He departed from baroda in private car…None of our friend were in position to reach at his home faster due to several reasons…But my friends father was a man of strong heart and didn’t let the tear come out of his dampen eyes…Soon he and some man from the neighborhood begun to arrange for the dead body’s cremation ritual…In one room the body was laid with some Agarbatties and tiny flame. Someone needed to sit in that room to accompany the body may be as a part of their jain ritual…i think…everyone sat down turn by turn 5 or 10 minutes to accompany the soul of my friends mother…I took my turn…deep peace was prevailing in the room…I could feel some strange vibrations but my eyes was hung on the that body only…some deep realizations were blowing out of my deep consciousness…Aunty always used to offer tea or drink to me and used to lovingly called me ‘Bapu’ and not only that the last time when I had spent two hours with aunty…she seemed so easy and talking much more than ever…Deep desire to get rid of that illness of dialyses…she had discussed with me…and I also had to give her promise of “This is normal and really ordinary thing aunty…and we are here so why you worry…so just take rest and everything will be all right!” She seemed happy after my and other friends’ consolation that night…Now against the same Soul I was seating alone in the room…even my eyes felt some liquid and got dampen as a form of guilt for the false commitment I had given her…!
But the soul was answering me about his lifelong journey and wanted to leave the message that

“Son…Life is short…no one knows what happens ahead…live in the present…but when you would be at my place one day…you must say that I have lived my life as I wanted to rather than becoming the slave of consequences…be the one who created ripples of happiness all around himself…and realize the god with your mighty KARMAS rather than Spiritual talks and chantings…So Good bye & Good Luck Son…!”

My friend arrived and crying was obvious emotion for him so my all exercises to console were useless at such moment. By the evening all the rituals & Vidhis were performed and the divine soul bade goodbye to all of us who were present in the crematory…!
That moments were really unforgettable...!
Well meet later…!
Good bye & Have a nice time…!

ViSHW.
